Take a Tour of Parliament?

I am happy to help arrange for a tour of the Houses of Parliament in London and to apply for special permits on behalf of my constituents to go on tours. However, there are a few restrictions on tours of the Palace of Westminster.At present, tours are only available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and on Fridays – all day if the Commons are not sitting, late afternoon if they are.

Climb to the Top of Big Ben?

Tours of the Clock Tower (Big Ben) are available on request. There is a very limited capacity with a maximum of 16 visitors per tour; no children under 11 are allowed. Where demand is high, preference will be given to those with a proven interest in clocks or bells.

Watch a Debate?

I am also glad to help obtain tickets for the Strangers' Gallery of the House of Commons for constituents. Strangers' Gallery is where members of the public can watch the proceedings of the House of Commons. Each Member of Parliament is allocated two tickets, about once every six weeks. As you may know, Strangers' Gallery Tickets for Prime Minister's Questions on Wednesdays are very difficult to get hold of. I will do my best to arrange tickets for Prime Minister's Questions, but it helps if constituents can provide a choice of dates, as far in advance as possible.

The Summer Recess runs from Wednesday 22 July to Sunday 11 October inclusive. The annual Public Summer Opening runs from Monday 3 August to Saturday 3 October inclusive. Tickets are on sale now.
